Borders is dead in my book

One of the proven Swift Boat Liars was scheduled to do a book signing at Borders in Canton, OH. I wrote to say that I think they shouldn't be supporting liars and shouldn't be promoting lies. Here's their response:
Dear Frank,

Thank you for contacting Borders with your comments regarding the appearance by Jerry Corsi at our Canton, OH store.

In its 30-year history, Borders has built a reputation for understanding and meeting customer needs in a manner that distinguishes our stores from others and makes us known for offering a comfortable and accepting environment. Our commitment to providing a vast and deep selection of materials that represent viewpoints across a broad spectrum of political, social and cultural views has fostered this reputation. This commitment to diversity extends to our in-store events and author appearances. We work to represent the interests of all of the people in the communities we serve.

We understand that the presence of these personalities delights some and outrages others. We ultimately decide to host individuals because they are of interest to many of the people who shop in our stores, not because we wish to validate or contest the viewpoints held by them. We reflect the interests of our customers and the communities where we do business and we strive to do this in a balanced way where many viewpoints are represented.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Cat

Let's see how "balanced" they are. Probably "balanced" like Fox News.
