Cheney's certainly not sensitive, but he is an accomplished hypocrite
"Not a one of [America's wars] was won by being sensitive." Vice President Cheney, mocking Sen. John Kerry's comments that America must be more "sensitive" to allies, 8/12/04
"Because America is powerful, we must be sensitive about expressing our power and influence." President George Bush, 3/4/01
This article in American Progress Action outlines 10 highly-documented instances when Bush, Cheney and the rest of the Republican Taliban used the word "sensitive" when speaking about conducting war.
These twists and turns by the Republicans are about as intellectually honest as when the minority in 1917 Russia co-opted the word Bolshevik (majority). Then again, it's about telling the Big Lie. Or does George Bush now actually believe that he's now "the peace president" in light of irrefutable evidence?
