Capturing hearts and minds in Fallujah

From a post in UnderTheSameSun, this picture of US Marines resting in the captured Al Kalfa mosque in Fallujah. Can you imagine the corollary, where Iraqis invade Philadelphia, and then "rest" in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul? If citizens were a little angry and tried to chase them out, would the Phiadelphians be labeled "insurgents"?
