If Terri Schiavo only had a living will

If Terri Schiavo only had a living will, her family - hell, the entire country - wouldn't be going through this tumult. I got to wondering about a living will and considered what it would take to move beyond water cooler talk. The U.S. Living Will Registry "stores directives and makes them available to healthcare providers 24 hours a day." I'm going to look into it. Here's another resource, what the American Bar Association says about advance directives.
