A couple Live8 shots as I watch what I missed by being there

When I arrived at Live8 Philly everything looked so promising. I went up on a construction trailer to take this shot. At that moment I actually believed that I'd be able to get close and see some of the acts up on stage. About five minutes after this shot was taken I was starting to feel like I was in the The Who concert in Cincinnati. People were really pushing and there was no space. I bailed.


I had signed the ONE.org petition online, so I was happy to see them there. I also picked up a few ONE bracelets. You can see them in this picture.

I'll put up a Flickr set of pix I took...some are better than others. And they're mostly pictures of other people not seeing much of the concert either. But I'm going to spend time tonight reading coverage and will enjoy that.
