Philadelphia's Fine Weather
I've lived in quite a few places around the U.S. and in Europe. And Philadelphia has what I'd say is the best weather. This article in USA Today titled Is There Anywhere Safe To Live? says there are some pretty bad places to live, especially with a little global warming thrown in for good measure. In Philadelphia we have mild winters (with global warming we've slid into the Mid-Atlantic planting zone), extended springs, decent summers (have you ever visited Chicago in July?), and a long fall. We get a little snow now and then, but not too much. We don't get tornados to speak of because the jet stream isn't bouncing over our heads like it is in the midwest. No earthquakes. No hurricanes.Anyways, it's a beauty here today. 80 degrees and sunny. And Mr. Bluebird's on my shoulder.
