New York State of Mind

Off to NYC today. Work. This time of year in New York is magical, except for all the people...especially the amateurs.

(Note: I commuted from Philadelphia to NYC every day for a couple of years, and besides that being horribly tiring, the worst was this time of year when every amateur on the East Coast headed to the city. The don't know how to get on Amtrak, they don't know how to get off Amtrak, they don't know how to use the escalators in Penn Station, they don't know how to use Metra, and they don't know how to walk in a straight line. Um, did I mention that I'm looking forward to going. Now, by the time I wrote this...I'm not. LOL.)
