Zen and the Art of the Motorcyclist Wave

I took my motorcycle out for a short spin this afternoon. I had to work all day, starting at 7am when I got up, and it was great to be in the fresh air (helmet on, always) for a few minutes in the late day.

One thing I like about riding is the "motorcyclist wave." It's, in effect, making the peace sign and pointing at the pavement as you go past another rider. It's a salute, a way to say, "Ride on." It's a way to say, "I read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and I still get a chill by the ending."
