DiBruno's Piazza

The City of Brotherly Love is getting some South Philly love from DiBruno Brothers. They sent this announcement about DiBruno's Piazza:
DiBruno Brother's is pleased to announce plans for a piazza on our square on the corner of 9th and Montrose. The piazza will run every Saturday through the summer from 11am-4pm and will feature local vendors of food, flowers and art. We will also feature activities for children and benefits for a variety of charities. Some highlights include:

Performances by students from Paul Green's School of Rock

Chef Daniel Stern (of Gayle and Rae fame) presenting an assortment of small dishes for a charitable cause

The artwork of Denise Cavalieri Fike, professor of Art at Drexel University (and, in the interest of full disclosure, mother extraordinaire)

Flowers from 9th Street vendor Betty Ann

Culinary masters from Pronto preparing treats on the grill

Specials from DiBruno Brothers House of Cheese
I think I'll have to go check that out.

DiBruno Bros. has a Blog

I was stumbling around the web today and found out that DiBruno Bros has a blog. I love DiBruno's. Just today I bought some Tomme Out -- some of the world's stinkiest cheese. And we ate every bite at the office. Yum.

Check out their site. Some really good writing about wonderful food. And...they have discount offers for blog readers!
